Dear Human Resources:
I am very interested in applying for the Machine Operator position that you
advertised 30 or more days ago and is still available on www.Indeed.com. I am currently
a junior at Algoma High School and look forward to the opportunity offered by
such a position and will be graduating in June of 2015.
My experience includes working in our high school
based enterprise, Algoma Wolf Tech. We design and create projects for the
community such as cabinets, signs, changing rooms for the nearby beach, and
other projects which may be brought forward to us. In this company, I have
helped draw plans for the changing rooms as well as a set
of cabinets going to our long term care center. Along with the company, I have
also been taking a class in G-code and will be taking another course in CNC
next semester. Finally, I have demonstrated that I am an enthusiastic, hard
worker and very willing to learn on the job.
In closing, I would like to request an interview
to discuss my qualifications in detail and have enclosed my resume. I will
contact you within the next week to schedule a possible interview. I can be
reached at the above address or by telephone at (920) 256-2444. Thank you for
your consideration.
Sincerely,
Kevin Sperber
